_______________________________________________________

A nostalgic piece of UCLA memorabilia showing 4 friends about to cross over the old Willow Creek Bridge, as they make their way to the UCLA Lake Arrowhead Conference Center, a sumptuous hotel-like getaway replete with store meeting rooms and luxuriously appointed "condolets," situated in the midst of breathtaking natural surroundings on the famous lake.

Formerly known as the North Shore Tavern, the sprawling 42-acre heavily wooded property was owned by the Los Angeles Turf Club, who donated it to UCLA in the 1950's (after USC turned it down.) It has since been updated several times, and today the UCLA Lake Arrowhead Conference Center is a thriving venue for conferences, retreats, and the ever popular UCLA Bruin Woods Family Resort.

Australian-born artist Anthony P. Geary-Millet resides at the top of the world overlooking Lake Arrowhead, where he still paints watercolors and oils on canvas to this day. An avid fisherman and conservationist, he loves to hand-carve wildlife and nature scenes directly onto the wood frames that he uses to mount his canvases, and often incorporates personal details according to the tastes of his clients.
