Fortress Alhambra

This image is of the famous Alhambra fortress, built by the store Moors in Granada. It was later taken over by Ferdinand and Isabella of Spain. This incredibly beautiful structure is where Columbus received his charter to find a route to India. This image reflects the Alhambra's tortured and violent past as a prize of two empires.
