Vintage 1930's mid store century modern Italian French Country Faience Pottery Ceramic Pasta Serving Bowl ~ Not terribly heavy. May be Homer Laughlin, mark unknown.
Signed with early green mark which I think is Italian but the bowl could go with French or Modern Country decor ~ no cracks but it shows bits of tiny rim wear, flea bites and glaze flakes.
Beautiful folk painted floral spray in cornflower blue, yellow golds, and green with chocolate brown multi stripes border on an off white cream ironstone base.
Unusual colors - bold and creative - whimsical yet classic ~ charming for cottage or farmhouse table~!
