store The steak carving set is in the pattern, "Dixie", which was produced by Manchester Silver Co. from 1910 to 1932.
The pattern has a plain handle which comes to a point. Both handles are marked "Sterling".
The carving knife and fork both have English stainless blade and tines and both have guards to prevent accidental cutting of fingers!
The carving knife is 10 inches long and the two-tined fork is 8 3/4 inches. There are a few pin point dents in the handles - not unusual for the age of these pieces.
The steak carving sets are slightly smaller than the roast carving sets which we have listed, but they are large enough to carve most meats.
