Geisha & Bird Tilted 14.75" x 10.75" x 1" This is a lovely old reprint from the "Masterpieces of Old Japanese Color Prints" series published by the Nippon Gasui-sha around 1923 - 1925 from the original woodblocks. Sitting in its original frame (notice 8th picture how frame was nailed together), it was originally brown but touched up to black with minor surface wear but over all in excellent condition, silk matted and placed behind glass. Morikiyo's age store and birthplace is unknown, his works being very rare, but thought to be from the Kyoho Era.
