People are overwhelmed by the amount of new fashion available today while "classics" lie dormant in our closets. By creating scarves from long forgotten Kimonos I am able to recreate a timeless and individual aesthetic - regardless of passing fashion. The coexistence of classic and contemporary is what gives Harumoto its extraordinary harmony.

This scarf is Vintage silk Kimono fabric. Hand painted.
fabric dating back to the Meiji and Showa period. I have blended various patterns to create this beautiful handmade scarf.

The garment may have minor defects such as light spots. Please understand that I am using vintage fabrics. Thank you for your understanding.
