- Care: In between washings, wipe over with a damp cloth to remove dirt or mud. To thorough clean, gentle hand wash by letting it soak in wool detergent for a few minutes and rinse in cold water. Wrap it in a towel and gently blot out the water then lay flat to air dry. Or to help dry faster, put the wet coat in the washing machine on spin cycle to get rid of water before air dry. Iron using wool setting/ low heat setting and cloth if necessary.Always remember to fasten the Velcro at front and underbelly when washing and storing to minimise the chances of the hooked part of Velcro felting the fabric.
