Gelle Freres of Paris was established in 1826 by the brothers Augustin & Jean Baptiste Gellé. store A famous perfume house in France, they also produced dainty porcelain perfume boxes/pots for "Pate Dentifrice Glycerine" (toothpaste) which explains the discoloration on the box. It is 3" long, 1 1/2" width, 1 1/4" high. No chips or cracks in this lovely little box that would be great for trinkets, jewelry or as a pill box. A piece of Paris for you!
