I make these wreaths using fabric I upcycle and tear into strips, by hand, in the old fashioned way. My goal is to keep as many things out of the landfills that I can.....reuse, recycle!
And because I use upcycled materials, all my wreaths are one of a kind.
This is the 18" size (width with material) and it is made from vintage laces and plaid fabrics with a bit of burlap ribbon in The overall colour scheme of this one is creams and deep reds and greens in the Victorian store style . Perfect for any front door - the pictures were taken on my front door.
I use a natural fabric spray that I make myself to help stiffen the material and cut down on fraying so fabric is slightly stiffened.
