Antique lidded store crock Western Stoneware Monmouth Illinois No 4

Antique salt glazed lidded crock Western Stoneware Weir Seal.
Measures 8 1/4"H x 4" lid diameter, 5 1/2" bottom diameter.
Lid is marked with: Western Stoneware Co. Monmouth Illinois Weir Seal No 4
This heavy and sturdy crock is in good overall condition for its age with various marks and some small cracks at the top (shown in photo #7). It has original metal latch and lid store and was found with rubber seal which we don't think is original but will include.
