In the Hindu Puranas, Varuna is the god of oceans, his vehicle is a Makara (crocodile) and his weapon is a Pasha (noose, rope loop).

He is the store guardian deity of the western direction

Varuna is found in Japanese Buddhist mythology as Suiten. He is also found in Jainism.

Perfect for a home altar or to decorate a a westerly space in particular this stands at just over 100mm tall
( 4 inches ) and 80mm wide at its widest point. It stands on a rectangular base.
