An original painted curved street sign from France from about the 30s - 40s.
It has the inscription: "RUE JEAN GRANAUD , ANVIEN MAIRE store D`ARLES ANC CONSEILLER GÉN DES B.D.RH 1858 - 1934 " .
Jean Granaud was a French politician in Provence and was mayor of Arles from 1908 to 1919,
where a street is also named after him.
The sign is in a beautiful cobalt blue, it has enamel chips on the corners and one corner is a bit bent. ( see pictures).

Width: 45 cm (17,5 inches) , height 30,5 cm (9,8 inches), depth 2,5cm (0,6 inches) . Weight over 1.7 kilograms.
