Louisiana state map framed wall decor - part of the "State Side Collection" - this is a "mini map" of the state of Louisiana. These mini sized maps come from vintage maps that have numerous states on them, making this a smaller version of the larger maps that I sell. While the larger sizes are "striking", these mini versions are just plain "cute". They would be perfect on a wall where you have limited space or in an office cube or dorm room.
The road map has been mounted on 1/2" plywood that was cut into the shape of Louisiana. The sides are wrapped with overlap map. The map is mounted on flat black painted wood with a stained wood frame. It has two picture hangers making it ready for immediate mounting.
* Please be aware that any cities along the coastline are not usually visible as they printed in the blue water portion of the map and wrap around the edge and onto the back of the map.*
The actual map measures 8-1/2" in width, 7-1/2" in height, and is 1/2" thick. The map used is a vintage 1986 "National Geographic" map. The framed wall hanging measures 12-3/4" in width, 12-1/4" in height, and is 1" thick. This map makes a lovely statement in any room and is a great educational gift.
