Antique Italian basket in handmade vegetable fiber, Italian folk art, antique kitchen wall décor, farm store house kitchen decor

Ancient Italian basket (Sardinia) of the years 1930/1940 woven using rush and hay. It was an artifact related to the production of bread that was used as a container of flour during and after its sieving. So that the flour was not partly dispersed in the weave, a linen cloth was placed on the basket. After the bread was processed, the baskets were placed in the kitchen wall waiting to be reused. Its measurements are: diameter 46 cm (18''); height 17 cm ( 7.6 '') . Its weight is: Kg 0,790 ( 1.7 lb ) . The basket is in excellent condition. Photos are an integral part of the description.
