Madeleine L’Engle’s Copy store of The Inland Island Josephine W. Johnson

This book of the seasons personally belonged to the late Madeleine L'Engle (A Wrinkle in Time) and features her married signature and address (“Crosswicks”) written inside the cover. Crosswicks in many ways was Madeleine L'Engle's own “inland island” where she spent much of her later life writing.

Features lyrical descriptions of nature's changes throughout the year, akin to Walden, by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Josephine Johnson.

In good shape with some light shelf store wear. Appears to have a pencil mark or two, likely made by Madeleine L'Engle.
