Shang-Chi first appeared in Special Marvel Edition #15 by Steve Englehart and Jim Starlin. In this issue, #17, the titles changed to "The Hands of Shang-Chi: Master of Kung Fu." The series, which ran until issue 125, began by introducing Shang-Chi as a man raised by his father, Dr. Fu Manchu, to be the ultimate assassin. Later he learns of his father's true, evil nature and becomes disillusioned. Shang-Chi swears eternal opposition to his father's ambitions. The series was an instant success and has now been released as a feature film from the Marvel Universe. The character of Fu Manchu is from the Sax Rohmer novels of the same name. The cover is in good shape with very little edge wear. No missing pages, no creases, tears, watermarks, cut outs, or dog ears. No writing or stains. The bindery is solid. As seen in photo 6 three characters are named after the writer, illustrator, and inker. Issue has not been professionally graded but is mid-range, probably a 5.5 or 6. We have issues 18 and 19 as well if interested.

Returns for Damaged Goods: In the unfortunate event that this package arrives damaged, please contact us right away. We will need a photograph of the item and packaging for insurance purposes. This must be sent within three (3) days. You will be refunded through the insurance process so your cooperation is required.

Returns for Other Reasons: Sometimes the magic just doesn't work and you need to make a return. If this is the case, contact us immediately and return the item within five (5) days of receipt. Buyers are responsible for these return shipping costs. Your refund will be minus any expenses incurred in the fulfillment of your order.

Some Additional Notes:
• We strongly suggest you insure your return shipment and acquire a tracking number. Returned items must be received in good condition and if damaged or lost in return will not be refunded. The tracking number is your proof of delivery.

• If you've received an empty box, you will need to report it to the Post Office as mail theft. To aid you in your claim, we photograph each package and its contents before shipping and will be happy to provide you with any photos necessary.

• If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any store loss in value.

• All payment processors and Etsy require that the item be returned before a refund can be given. If the refund is for damaged goods your shipping expenses will be fully refunded.

• If, after three (3) days, we have not heard from you regarding any problems with your purchase we will consider the transaction good and complete and the window for returns closed.
