Antique Rare Delicate Scrumptious Handmade Paper French store Lampshades from Paris Market/Chateau Decor!

Bonjour friends,

Delicate tufts, scallops and flowers make up the pattern of these buttery-golden yellow paper (almost tissue-like) antique lampshades. These were handmade long ago. I have not found another quite like these. I do imagine this shade on gorgeous hurricane lantern chandelier!

These are rare! Appears to have little or no use, but likely used as a decorative shade on a hurricane-type lamp. I use mine on lamps with a large LED light and just rest the shade on the LED bulb as it does not get hot and burn the shade. You must be careful as the shade is quite delicate and cannot take direct heat. I did include photos of the shade with an LED (please see last 3 photos for an idea of how I use these shades). Isn't the yellow color just lovely? If not a shade, perhaps it could be used as a doll skirt or a chapeau! LOL. store Regardless, these little shades are divine.

I must pack it in a good box with padding to avoid damaging.

Found at Porte de Vanves market in Paris.
