SYNOPSIS

This story begins in a fictional city in Portugal, in Morros Verdes, and focuses from the beginning on the lives of two young people, María Victoria and Ignacio. Maria is an orphan from an early age and for this reason she was raised by Father José Augusto. It is already logical to think that María Victoria is going to dedicate herself to the activities of the church, and precisely in one of them, in the procession of Holy Week, she meets Ignacio.
Ignacio is a young man who actually lives in the neighboring village, and makes a living from temporary jobs. These two fall in love, but everything store is paralyzed when Ignacio accepts a job in Rio de Janeiro. The work will be done in the Emporium Son Mateus and its main boss and owner of that place is Geraldo.
When Ignatius leaves, Maria Victoria becomes pregnant with him, and alone confronts her father who sends her to the convent and gives the baby up for adoption. Then, when Maria finds out, she decides to look for Ignacio so that together they can recover their daughter. Mary has no easy way to find him and even when she finds him she has to deal with the jealousy of Ignatius' suitor.
Together they will face so many obstacles and love and romance will be unleashed. A true story of love and passion that will leave us attentive to every detail and with the expectation that in the end love can triumph. Will they really be able to get their daughter?
