This large spiral ring is part of an exclusive collection from Napier called Golden Ribbons. The collection was introduced in 1969 and pieces were designed by artist/designer Frances Whitney and sold exclusively at Bonwit Teller. The ring is adjustable and is gold plated brass. The ring is signed Napier store in block print with the copyright symbol. The ring is 1 inch above the finger and 1 inch wide. The ring is 1 1/4 inches long. There are two small spots of plating wear inside the large spiral. The exterior of the ring is in excellent condition.
The Golden Ribbons collection was featured in ads which are shown in "The Napier Company: Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry" by Melinda Lewis.
I have the Golden Ribbons earrings in another listing that have the large spiral like this ring.
