Mesmerizing, 2 vintage, hand carved African Head Statues. I'm not sure of the wood type, but it is burly. There is a wood split (from store age) running up the man's chest and a small split ( from age) on the woman's side base. These have been handled a lot, you can tell by the patina of the wood. A proud, beautiful and noble couple. He's carrying what I believe to be gourds, while a basket sets atop her head. Stunning additions to your collection. 13.5 “ tall 4” wide each.
