These abstract prints are reproductions of my original work which were undertaken acrylic paste to give a high profile. These are dramatic paintings which will give a focus point on any wall they are hung.

The original abstract work was undertaken in acrylic over a structured three dimensional sculptured background. These works are carved and structured out of specialised paste, coloured gels, inks and acrylic paints to give a high profile.

To create a structured abstract work, firstly, I design the basic form the work will take and colours that are to be used.

Working flat, the pastes and gels are applied to the art board and allowed to cure, after which the carving and structuring can begin, finally acrylic paints are applied to fine tune the colouring.

These are not random abstract paintings, where paint is splashed over the canvas in the hope of producing an interesting colour formation.

The print is a highest quality reproduction of the original work, produced from a three pass scan (not photograph) and printed on a large format 110 cm bed professional Giclee fine art reproduction machine, using light fast inks and pigment dyes on to high quality canvas. Each work is given three coats of artist varnish, so does not require a glass for protection.

The work will be shipped as canvas rolled to avoid damage in transit I am a full time artist living in the mountains of Cordoba, Andalusia, Southern Spain from where I ship worldwide.
