Striped Nantucket store Basket

Multiple color choices for this basket evoking images of Nantucket Island. Chase weaving is the skill used in this basket to create the upward stripes. This exquisite 6" round Nantucket basket is finished with a cherry wood base and rim. Two weavers of 2.5mm natural and dyed cane are used to create the striped pattern.

Woven on a 6" Nantucket mold with hand-shaped 6mm cane staves
Created using a technique called Chase Weaving with 2.5 mm dyed and natural cane
Constructed of hand-polished cherry wood, natural and red cane (or your color choice)
