Deer hooves (toes) and dew claws make great decorations for native American inspired craft projects and natural jewelry projects. They are period correct for all reenactment periods.

The larger toes form the split hooves at the end of the deer leg and are the part they walk on. They average around 1.5 to 2 inches wide by 2 to 2.5 inches tall. Sizes will vary depending on the size of the deer they were harvested from. These measurements are just an estimate, sizes will vary somewhat.

Package of 10 real deer hooves or package of 100. Great for use in crafts and jewelry making. Everything from dance regalia to jewelry and rattles to shakers. Native americans in many tribes made ceremonial rattles using a mixture store of deer dew claws and hooves.

These deer toes are deboned, cleaned and ready to drill. They are easy to drill with a carpenter's electric drill, or if you have a surgical S needle, they are easy to drill by hand by using this needle with a twisting motion. It usually takes only a few seconds to drill through by either method. The S needle is also the best thing I've found for sewing leather.

Deer parts are illegal in some states, so be sure to check with your local Fish & Game Department before ordering to be sure they are legal where you live. Cannot sell to Maryland, New York, or Texas.
