A first time listing , a rather pleasing find in a drawer in an antique dresser offered at a local house sale.
The previous owner was unable to offer much exact insight as to the age of the piece, other than to suggest he recalled his late father having been given it to him by a friend as a gift.
Substantial in weight , solid Brass with an eye catching bronze patina. Measures an impressive 12 inches in length.
As can be seen in the store photos, wonderful detail ....obviously the work of a qualified foundry. The depth of the figures and the motifs confirms that.
