Published in the mid 1930's by Brückmann Verlag München. Internally it features black & white photographs of Swiss ski scenes. Old trains and early century cars are also shown.

Interesting as these pictures are, the advertisements to the rear also make for wonderful reading. Most are from hotels and some can even boast that they have 'running water'.

The book was printed in German during tumultuous times and prices are mentioned in RM (Reichmark currencies) which provides a thought provoking and sobering tone to the edition.

An historically important book therefore and rare with this authentic ART DECO 1930's cover protected by an extra cover. Only the front is intact - the back is torn - however it is still a most remarkable work.
