Original Vintage 'Tell your Fortune Mystic Jig-saw Puzzle store - Made by Tower Press, England circa 1940's

Wonderfully evocative cover design, offering 'a different fortune for everyone in one puzzle'

Includes original leaflet with instructions and how to 'read' your fortune (shown folded over in the photographs):

"This jig-saw puzzle is unique. It has 1,700 different solutions, and each time somebody else makes it there will be a different fortune told, according to the personality and influence of the puzzle-maker"

There are lots of pieces and I have been assured this puzzle is complete, but I haven't checked as I'm not a natural jigsaw puzzler... this item is therefore sold 'as is'

Condition: Good vintage condition, some wear and tear to the box, in particular the lower left-hand corner where the lid has caved in slightly. The pieces are clean (and very numerous!) and the leaflet is complete and undamaged with some light creasing. There are old tape marks on the sides of the box, and light scuffs to the decorative image.
