I am a master finish carpenter and a lifelong surfer who grew up in Malibu. I started making these perfectly shaped surfboards as wall art. This is the true shape of a surfboard, meaning it angles to the tip. My boards are 36 1/2" x 11" x 3/4", all custom shaped and sanded smooth, air brush painted and lacquered. I use knotted pine wood because I love the life character of the wood to be a store part of the art. This board is my first design, and I have more coming.

Included with the boards is standard mounting not yet attached: 1x4 piece of wood and 2-sided command strips to adhere to the wall and velcro to the board. You can also use other hanging methods at your option. If you want a custom rack, please ask me. I have a friend who likes to prop his against the wall, and take it from room to room as the mood strikes.

I hand make each one separately, and every one will be different given the character of wood. Even the air brushed art rendering of the wave is unique to that one piece. These are shaped the same as the boards I surf on, authentic to the skegs, or the fins on the board. The skegs extend out about 2 1/4", which I did not include as part of the dimensions above. If you want a board without them, feel free to contact me and I can custom make one without them.

I can do custom boards if you have a different size, type of wood, or colors in mind. All custom work is negotiable, depending upon your specifications.

I spend many hours with pride creating these boards. As I work I dream of riding the next wave. You can share the dream for years to come.
