Traditional, Antique Amber Cylinder Ear Plugs store from the Kachin People from Burma

This pair of amber store ear ornaments were collected in Myanmar in the 1990's. It is traditional jewelry worn by the Kachin people in the north of Myanmar. These pieces were worn in the ear lobes mostly by Kachin women in the north west of Burma, but also by Mizo women in Eastern India. It was traditional tribal jewelry.
They weigh 13 grams and are 38 x 15mm.
