Manual bobbin winder.
Wide range of bobbin can be used. Will wind bobbins and cones with a thru center hole. Bobbin center hole diameter can range from approximately 1/8" to as large as 5/8".
This store bobbin winder uses a pass thru mount (not a tapered shaft mount) to hold the bobbins in place. Bobbins are self centering and are held securely between the two conical ends. Bobbins will not wobble off center.
Bobbin winder is securely held in place on the work surface with the provided hold down clamps. Hold down clamps can be used on the left or right side of the bobbin winder allowing the bobbin winder to be used in right or left handed operation,
Bobbin winder can be used with Ashford, Leclerc, Harrisville, Schacht and various others bobbins up to 8 inches in length.
Bobbin winder can also be used to wind cones. Included with the winder are a pair of cone adapters. Cone adapters are made of hard maple.
The cone adapters allow the bobbin winder to wind a verity of cones.
