This listing is for a gorgeous vintage silk sari. I would date store it to the 1970s or so. It might be even a bit older. Love the intensity of both the color and pattern. The silk material is light weight and delicate. The material measures 192 x 41". There is fabric reinforcement in some areas of the sari. Please look at the last image. This sari is in good condition for its age, but definitely not great or pristine. Since this material is quite delicate, there are some punctures where it may have been pinned etc. It also has some discoloration from wear in places. The material has not been cleaned in any way after I purchased it at an estate sale. It has a slight dusty smell, nothing too offensive, just typical to a material that has not been aired out for some time. I would recommend dry cleaning rather than washing this fabric.
