This set has also been on my mind for a very long time. The second image is one of my all time favorite paintings. “Rescue of the lost Lamb” by Minerva Teichert. Since I can't afford to have one hanging in my home, I thought I would create a peg set that can be placed in my home as a reminder of one of my most cherished Bible parables...Now you can too!

An incredibly wise man, Mr. Rogers, once said, “Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. BUT, for children, play IS serious learning.”

I believe this with my whole heart and this has been one of the main drives for me with these bible serious sets.
If I want my children to really learn and apply the stories in the Bible, they must learn them by “playing” them! It is when we allow our children to take what we have taught them and then have them use their imaginations to “play” what they have been taught, that they TRULY learn!
