Heavy and substantial smith-made copper measuring store scoop with a turned hardwood handle, likely English or European, dating from around the middle of the 19th century. Features both soldered and riveted construction with rolled edges for added durability. The whole retains a mellow, old patina although it would take a bright polish if desired.

Surface oxidation; minor loss to wood handle; minor splits and imperfections to rolled edges; generally good.
