Virgin Mary Chalkware Bust - Notre store Dame de Lourdes - Our Lady of Lourdes - Lourdes Souvenir - 1930's

I am always astonished that these chalkware figures survive at all, they are so delicate and fragile, but so beautiful. This bust of the Virgin Mary was most likely produced in the 1930's and was a souvenir from Lourdes. Overall condition is good, some scratching to the chalk finish, adding a lovely patina and completely commensurate with the age of the object.
