Sacred art. Crucifix in transparent shaded orange-coloured glass, made with the technique store of glass-fusing

A transparent, shaded orange coloured glass crucifix made with the glass-casting technique. 

This crucifix has a decorative metal hook included in the fusing, which allows it to be hung on the wall. Approximate size cm 28 x 20 approx

I make up the crucifix with Float glass, then i place it on top of a plaster cast, specially decorated with geometrical motifs, giving each crucifix a personal touch, harmonious and original, so that it always turns into an exclusive and unique piece of art work. I then send it to be fused, at this stage the glass will melt and form a solid, shiny and unique body, solid and shiny, a hardening phase makes it sturdy and solid. Being transparent, with a soft and pale colour, it will be very delicate and elegant hung either on a white or coloured wall.
