I liked Monster High Dolls from the very first one that I saw. And, yes, the Haunted Mansion is my favorite attraction at Disneyland. (Although I am also quite fond of the Teacups. I realize that it's an odd combination of favorites but people are complicated.) I'm been thinking recently that my fondness for Monster store High has its roots in my early exposure to Disney ghosts. Or maybe the fact that I really liked the Addams family. And, yes, I know that this is the whole point of the brand: It's a brand designed not to seem too much like a brand. I get that. But the thing is, that whole brand-but-really-more-than-a-brand thing really does work sometimes.
