Product code: Wright & Ditson "Comet" racket 30s. Very store rare

Wright & Ditson produced tennis rackets in Boston from 1878 and was the first importer of tennis equipment in the United States. In 1891 it was store absorbed by Spalding but continued to produce under its own name until the mid-1930s. It was adopted among others by the great Bill Tilden, ruler of tennis throughout the 20s of the last century.
This "Comet" model is certainly prior to the early '30s, when leather was adopted on the handle. I sell together the seller's original scabbard and press.
