Product code: Set of 3 French store Tunisie Porcelain Plates

PLEASE NOTE: THE PRICE IS FOR THE SET OF 3.

Here are 3 Tunisie Porcelain Plates. Each one is unique and in perfect condition. They are store 26.5 cm square. They would be great for serving desserts, appetizes or even can be used as dinner plates. I haven't seen anything like these before. The price is for the set of 3.

Here are a few salads and side dishes that would be wonderful on these plates:

Salade Tiede De Lentilles
(Warm Lentil Salad)

Pick over 1.5 Cups of Lentils and put them in a saucepan. Add an onion studded with 2 whole cloves, 1 garlic clove (crushed), bouquet garni, salt and pepper. Add water to cover generously. Cover and simmer over low heat until tender - about 20 mintues.

Meanwhile, make the vinaigrette dressing. Whisk 1/4 Cup red wine vinegar with 2 tsp. Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Stir in 3 shallots (finely chopped) and then whisk in 1/2 Cup walnut or hazelnut oil - adding it gradually so the dressing emulsifies and thickens slightly.

When the lentils are tender, drain them, discarding the onion, garlic and bouquet garni and immediately mix them with the dressing and 2 Tbsp. of chopped parsley. Taste, adjust the seasoning if needed and let stand at least 5 minutes before serving. Place on one of these platters and serve.

Feves a la Tourangelle
(Fresh Fava Beans with Bacon)

3 Cups Shelled Fava Beans
Salt and Pepper
3 Tbsp. Butter
4 Thick Slices Lean Bacon, Diced
24 Baby Onions
3 Tbsp. Chopped Fresh Chives
2 Tbsp. Chopped Fresh Chervil or Parsley

1. Bring a saucepan of salted water to a boil and add the fava beans. Simmer until tender but still slightly crunchy. Drain reserving 1/2 Cup of the cooking liquid. Rince the beans with cold water and drain again. Peel them by pinching open the stem end of each bean with your thumbnail and popping the bean into a bowl. Set the beans aside.
2. Melt the butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the bacon and fry until lightly browned. Remove the bacon with a draining spoon and set aside. Add the onions to the pan, cover and cook over low heat, shaking the pan often so they color evenly, until the onions are lightly browned and nearly tender - 12 to 15 mintues.
3. Add the reserved cooking liquid back into the pan with the onions and simmer for 5 minutes to blend the flavors. Stir in the beans, bacon, chives and chervil to warm for 2 minutes. Taste and adjust the seasoning.

Chanterelles en Persillade
(Chanterelle Mushrooms with Garlic and Parsley)

1 Lb. Chanterelle or other Wild Mushrooms
4 Tbsp. Butter
2 Garlic Cloves, very finely chopped
2 Shallots, finely chopped
Salt and Pepper
2 Tbsp. Chopped Fresh Parsley
2 Tbsp. Chopped Fresh Chivees

1. Clean the mushrooms and halve or quarter if large. Melt the butter in a large frying pan over low heat. Add the mushrooms and sprinkle with the garlic, shallots, salt and pepper.
2. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, 5 to 10 mintues depending on the type of the mushrooms. Remove the lid, increase the heat to medium and continue cooking until all the liquid has evaproated.
3. Stir in the parsley and chives, taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

Enjoy!

Now for the fine print.

I only purchase items that I would have in my home in rural France and I hope that you love what you have ordered. You will get a confirmation of your order as soon as the order is placed. I will get your order shipped within 3 to 5 days after payment has been cleared. Unfortunately, I can't accept exchanges or returns.

I almost always purchase items in perfect or near perfect condition unless it's something that is either very unusual or I believe I'll never see anything like it again. Sometimes, I just can't pass something up that might show some age. If you need more information about any item, I'm happy to take additional photos or chat on email. All items are sold ‘as is'. It's also difficult to determine the age of some of the items – I depend on the people who I purchase from to get as much information as possible.

I will pack your order as securely as possible. I ship from rural France via La Poste/Chronopost/Colissimo which means that it can take up to 2 weeks to arrive to the USA.

I can not be responsible or predetermine any customs delays. All import taxes and customs fees are your responsibility and in accordance with the requirements of the country of destination. If you require insurance for your purchase, please let me know and I can make prior arrangements for you. Any additional costs can be added to your order before checkout and payment.

Your order will require a signature on delivery and based on the delivery address provided at the time of your order. If your order is returned to me because no one was available to sign for the package or the address provided was incorrect, the shipping charges will not be refunded. Contact me and we can see about re-delivery.

If your item arrives in damaged packaging, please do not open the package. Either obtain a declaration/proof from the delivery person or take it, unopened, to your local post office. This will facilitate a claim.

Well, that's it. If you've read this far, thanks so much, enjoy your wonderful item from France and I hope to hear from you again soon.
