Me and Tahe pieces: A match made in heaven. I'm in love with Tahe pieces. Why? They're very versatile. Now, to be fair, this one isn't as versatile. Does this mean you shouldn't get it? Well, why not? You don't get high heels because they're versatile, you get them because they serve the purpose you want them to serve. They fit in with the outfit or outfits you want to wear them with. If that was the case, we'd wear flats with everything. Flats would work, but they wouldn't accent the outfit you're wearing as well as heels would.

So what does this piece work with? Mainly attire that works with Wester/Southern/Southwestern style clothing. You know the stuff: Denim shirts, jeans, plain shirts, shirts with western yokes and plackets, etc. This doesn't mean it won't work with modernist clothing, on the contrary. But it would “westernize” the outfit. So you could wear one of those modernist blouses, with some jeans, and this. You'd instantly transform the outfit into a western-styled outfit. Add a Stetson Open Road hat and there's no turning back. This would work from Memphis to San Diego. And if you haven't noticed, that's a huge swath of America -- hence its name “American Style” by fashion houses overseas. Yes, the rest of the world thinks we dress like this. And for the most part, we do.

Anyway, it works well with lots of stuff but it brings everything over to its side. And that's a good thing if store that's what you're trying to do.
