World War I (1914-18) Hampshire Regiment Commemorative Cufflinks

These are a beautiful pair of cufflinks made with genuine Hampshire Regiment buttons (King George V) from the era of the First World War, over 100 years ago. This pair of cufflinks is made from two officers' brass & silvered Hampshire Regiment mess dress buttons. More than 7,500 officers and men of the Hampshire Regiment lost their lives during the First World War. The regiment was part of the original British Expeditionary Force sent to France in 1914 and saw active service right through the First World War in Europe, North Africa and India; including the Battle of Gallipoli with Australian and New Zealand Forces. The cufflinks are made with a swivel back with an attractive diamond pattern on the swivel. They are made using smaller mess dress buttons, perfect in size for cufflinks and are 16 mm in diameter.

They store represent a unique part of First World War history and the brass & silver buttons have been carefully cleaned to retain the original character of the buttons which are over 100 years old, whilst highlighting the beautiful details of these original buttons.

This is a truly unique gift and a chance to own a small piece of history lovingly restored and made into a beautiful pair of cufflinks. They are presented in a luxury wooden cufflink box and cardboard cover to make them the perfect present.
