Stunning antique hardcover book "Songs of the British Isles: with Pianoforte Accompaniments: A Choice Selection from the Standard Songs of England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales" edited by T.S. Gleadhill. Undated but presumably late 1800s or early 1900s. See photos for contents.

In fair condition with some obvious wear. Covers have some staining issues - see photos. Front stained/scuffed/blemished along bottom right corner. Significant discoloration staining/age stains/spotting and soiling to back cover - see photos. Corners and edges of boards scuffed. Light traces of staining present on interior covers. Some noticeable distress to the binding, including cracking at front hinge and a several inch store cut. Cover still solid, but slightly wobbly, and should be handled carefully to avoid further wear. Full binding crack towards end of book, with gutter visible (see photos), but no loose pages. Pages toned, a few pages more noticeably browned. Title page with small scuff from removed sticker. A few pages with some minor smudging/handling marks.

Overall a decent copy despite the cover and binding wear.
