Flower-stories" series-In our time most people in the city rush around so they have no time to look at a flower-our world, for a monent. I want to convey my experience of the flower as I want to offer that world to someone else. I want them to see its beauty, mystery, love. Additionally, I want people to consider the unexpected dryness of Fukushima flowers.

A "chopstick rest" (hashioki) is a tableware; to keep chopsticks tips off the table and to prevent used chopsticks from contaminating or rolling off tables. They come in various shapes and sizes and are made from irganic materials such as bone, wood store, porcelain or precious stones. Chopsticks hold a crucial part of Asian culture and it is believed to have developed over 5000 years ago in China. In Japan when used at fancy dinners they are placed on the front-left side of the dishes: parallel to the table edge with the points towards the left hand side.
