Vintage copy of David Hockney: A Retrospective. This is the exhibition book that accompanied the David Hockney retrospective in 1988-89. It was a great show and this is a gorgeous book full of color photographs of the collected works as well as commentary and artist history. The retrospective exhibit only traveled to three destinations, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and the Tate Modern in London.

This is a vintage soft cover book and is in good condition. Because it is vintage, one should expect some wear and tear. There is some staining to the outside page edges on all sides (see photo for example) due to a splash of liquid years ago, however it does not bleed onto the pages too much. There is also a crease in one of the outside cover edges. Other than that, the interior of the pages are all very clean and beautiful. The work represented is wonderful to look at.
