Teapot store handthrown with brass handle

This teapot was handmade in a black stoneware clay. The body, the spout and lid were handthrown. The comfortable brass handle was handmade especially for this pot, it is hand hammered for texture. It can be easily removed to put the pot in the dishwasher. The pot was glazed on the inside only for a maximum contrast with the shiny handle. Fired to 2192 F°. Dim. 7.9 x 6.7" (h x w incl. handle and spout). Contents 550 ml or 18.6 fl oz US. No. 4173.
All my teapots pour well store thanks to a carefully designed spout.
