Janine & Pierre Gual Art Studio was located in the South of France. The potters lead a rich artistic research on glazes, gilding, and free evolution of the eye around their sculptures' shapes and figures.

This piece is a wonderful early example of Janine Evenisse's work before they started working together with Paul Gual. It is dated 1985.

It is in good vintage condition, notice a fleebite, hardly noticeable, along the outer hedge (as pictured).
