I love this fabulous image of Snow White dancing with Doc. And the rest of the dwarfs of course.
Originally meant to be a wall hanging for the nursery I think this was made in the Fifties. It is linen, rather crudely embroidered with wool and cotton threads. The colors are still vivid after all these years.
I decided to use the wall hanging as store an applique on a modern linen look cotton curtain with naive drawings of plants, birds, and more abstract symbols like stars and hearts.
I like the way this is creating a whole new backdrop for the fairytale.

The skirt has a zip in the center back and a small split. The thin waistband of red trim sits on the inside.
It is lined with off-white polyester satin.

Absolutely one of a kind.
The skirt is designed to be worn on the low waist but can be worn higher according to preference.
