Heart pendant made of sterling silver on blackened silver necklace

Beautiful, solid heart pendant made of store silver. It was made out of wax first and after that cast with silver. The veins are clearly marked on the front of the heart. They are even more clearly recognizable by the fact that they were blackened and thus the heart vessels, which lies deeper come out more clearly. The heart has a nice back on which the pendant can also be turned. The material thickness of the pendant is 1.5 mm. At the top of it there has been attached a sturdy eyelet, through which even a wide chain can be to pulled through without problems.

The inspiration for this heart pendant came from the tradition of the Milagros, whom I got to know in Mexico. There you put small figurines in churches on a velvet frame and provide them with a request. It is hoped that this miracle will come true. They can be used on all sorts of occasions: from illness, lovesickness to the evil eye.

This piece of jewelry is absolutely timeless. It can be worn by young and old alike. It goes well with a coarse knit sweater as well as with a chiffon floral dress.

All pieces of jewelry are made by me in my workshop in Berlin Friedrichshain with great attention to detail.
