This book is absolutely beautiful, with full-page illustrations as well as lovely decorations at the head of each chapter.

The book is in Very Good condition. The covers and pages are clean and unmarked. There is minimal wear to the cloth covers. Inside, on the FEP, the author has written a gift inscription; on the FFEP, there is another gift inscription. Both are store lovely (see photos for details). There is a slight bit of wear to the dust jacket as shown in photo. The dust jack is not price-clipped.

The book and jacket were wrapped in cellophane long ago. As a result, there are stains on the endpapers where transparent tape was used to secure the wrapping (see photos). At the top right of the FFEP, some writing has been erased (see photo).

This rare book is readable, collectible, and would make a unique addition to any bookshelf.
