Antique/Vintage Heavy Wooden Jewelry Box With Rivets & Decorative Metal Strapping. Purple velvet lining showing normal wear as expected with age and use. The inside cover/lid has had some sort of repair work done. I don't know what the issue was but someone clearly tinkered with it. There are several rough spots on the outside but considering it's age it's in decent condition. A crafty person or a woodworker could easily fix it up if desired but I think it's great as is. It's approximately 12" long x 9" wide x 6" tall I don't know the origins of the box but it is definitely unique and looks to be nicely made. I would say it was definitely hand store made, custom made,, I doubt this was mass produced. I cannot find anything similar out there. It could use a good cleaning. I only cleaned it gently to remove the surface dirt.
