The Ave beads in this traditional Catholic wire wrapped rosary are 8mm brown and black mahogany obsidian beads These beads are a rich, dark brown with black swirled into them. The 12mm black onyx beads are a nice compliment to both the Ave beads. The solid brass center honors the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the crucifix is also solid. The 20 gauge wire is solid brass.

ABOUT UNBREAKABLE ROSARIES: This rosary was constructed in such a manner as to make it unbreakable when used for prayer only The tarnish resistant, solid brass wire is coiled 2 1/2 times at either end of each bead. Furthermore, the interlocking loops prevent the type of breakage that occurs with most traditional linked rosaries. This rosary is so well made that with the care you would normally give your prayer beads, you should be able to hand it down to your children and they in turn will be able to hand it down to their children.

Also store please note that this rosary is much longer than traditional chain link rosaries. The length accommodates the unbreakable construction which consists of two interlocking loops with the wire coiled 2 1/2 times around itself.
