Product code: Russian Poet DANIIL HARMS store linocut portrait

This is an original hand-pulled linocut - store portrait of DANIIL HARMS (1905-1942), an early Soviet-era surrealist and absurdist poet, writer, and dramatist.

Designed, cut, and printed by me (Natalia Moroz). Signed in pencil, numbered (from a limited edition of 30) and dated 2005. The linoleum block is cut by hand, then inked and printed individually, so every print is slightly different. Printed on beautiful printmaking paper (Rising Stonehenge, acid-free) with oil-based printing ink - all materials are permanent and archival. Generous wide margins provided around the image. Suitable for standard matting and framing.

Image area is about 8"x10"
Paper size is 11" x14" (28x36cm)
Mint condition (never been matted or framed)

My other portraits of great writers include Rainer Maria Rilke, Robert Frost, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Wystan Hugh Auden, Konstantin Kavafis, Boris Pasternak, Anna Akhmatova, Aleksander Blok, Marina Tsvetaeva, Arseniy Tarkovsky, Joseph Brodsky, and Bulat Okudzhava. If you are interested in any of the portraits not currently listed, please feel free to convo me.
